Annual Youth Justice Convention Art Show 2006
Every year, the YJB stages an art exhibition of works by children and young people who are serving sentences in custody.
Short-listed pieces were exhibited at the Annual Youth Justice Convention, held on 1-2 November 2006. Delegates at the convention voted for the best pieces in three categories.

There was only space at the convention to show the short-listed pieces of art, but for the first time we have created an online gallery that holds every piece that was submitted. See below for the wide range of techniques, styles, approaches and ideas that went into each and every piece.
For legal reasons, the artists cannot be named, and their works have been displayed in no particular order.
The YJB would like to thank all the children and young people, and the staff at secure institutions around the country, for the time and effort they put into creating and submitting these pieces.
