The Youth Justice Board for England and Wales consists of up to 12 members appointed by the Secretary of State.
Frances Done is the Chair of the YJB. Her career has spanned both public and private sectors. In October 2007 she completed nine months as interim Director General of the Royal British Legion.
Graham Robb has been the headteacher of two secondary schools, most recently Drayton School, Oxfordshire, where developments in restorative justice were vital in school improvement.
Dr Julie Hollyman has over 20 years experience of mental health and general healthcare issues.
Rosanna O’Connor has been the Director of Regional Management at the National Treatment Agency (NTA) since April 2003.
Bob Reitemeier, having served in the early 1980s as a Secondary School Teacher in the Peace Corps in Zaire, has since gained over 20 years experience of work in the Voluntary Sector.
David Simpson was appointed a metropolitan stipendiary magistrate (now district judge) in 1993, having previously been a justices’ clerk.
Chris Holmes was formerly the Director of Shelter, has been involved in housing issues for many years and was awarded the CBE for his services to homelessness.
Canon Dr Alan Billings is the Director of the Centre for Ethics and Religion, Lancaster University, and Vicar of St George, Kendal.
Salima Hafejee has over fifteen years of professional practice and strategic development in work with young people in both the voluntary and statutory youth sector.
Charles Clark joined Essex Police in 1968 and retired as Deputy Chief Constable of that police force in December 2006.
