Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives everyone a right of access to information held by a public authority.
Under section 19 of the Act, the YJB has undertaken to adopt and maintain a scheme for the publication of YJB information. In this context, ‘publication’ simply means ‘to make publicly available’. The Information Commissioner has approved our scheme. We will publish information in accordance with the scheme and monitor and review its operation.
