- Big Brothers, Big Sisters
Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America has remained the expert in youth mentoring since its founding in 1904. In 1977, the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organisations merged into Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) and the national headquarters was established in Philadelphia. Today BBBSA provides one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and children primarily from single-parent families in over 500 programmes throughout the United States.
- Chance UK
Chance UK provides specific and targeted solution focussed mentoring for children aged 5–11 years, based on individual needs. Their programmes are delivered by carefully screened and trained volunteers, who are closely supervised and supported.

Crime Concern is a national crime reduction charity that works with local and national agencies to create safer communities.

A good source of past and up-to-date research papers in relation to young people.
- London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC)
The LVSC strengthens London's voluntary organisations by providing services and a strong voice on policy issues that affect Londoners. In its work, LVSC targets co-ordinating and support services, councils for voluntary service, organisations which are unable to get help from another umbrella group, black and minority ethnic and other groups that experience discrimination.

The National Youth Agency aims to advance youth work to promote young people's personal and social development, and their voice, influence and place in society.
- Trailblazers
The first and only mentoring by mail programme inside a prison in the UK. Our mentoring programme now includes regular one-to-one visits. We have been running an educational and Mmntoring programme inside Feltham YOI since September 1998, with a particular focus on improving the career prospects of inmates leaving prison.
