This sentence has been replaced by the Youth Rehabilitation Order (YRO), that came into effect on 30 November 2009. It is important to note, however, that the sentence will continue to exist for those that committed an offence before 30 November 2009.

The use of Drug Treatment and (where appropriate) Drug Testing as Requirements in Supervision Orders or Action Plan Orders will be piloted in Middlesbrough, Newham, Calderdale, Manchester, and Bradford from 1 December 2004 to March 2006.
